We are excited to announce several updates for the 2024 Conquerors Paragolf Championships, scheduled for 4/1/2024 thru 4/4/2024!
One of the main concerns regarding the current Adaptive Golf schedule is the high cost of player participation. We understand that Adaptive Golfers have family, work, and financial obligations, so we have been working hard to find ways to reduce or control the overall cost of playing Adaptive Golf. We welcome your feedback on the following ideas:
First, we have decided to move this year’s tournament to the Phoenix metro area for several reasons. Primarily, airline tickets to Phoenix are less expensive, and there are direct flights from almost every point of departure, making scheduling much easier for all players. Secondly, there is a more competitive hotel environment in Phoenix at this time of year. Thirdly, the sponsor base in Phoenix is ten times larger than in Tucson, which means we have an increased potential for raising more money for the event.
Lastly, the selection and quality of golf facilities in Phoenix are also ten times larger than in Tucson. We have submitted RFPs to eight top-ranked golf facilities in the Phoenix metro area, all of which are managed and maintained by the best management companies in the business. We have ensured that each potential facility is adaptive-friendly, has the capability of custom placement of tees (to ensure fair yardages), and has first-class golf experience facilities.
Next, we have decided to move our event to two weeks earlier than our traditional date, which was one week before the Master’s, to accommodate our other tournament director friends. This change will make it easier for everyone to play more events before the summer heat. This year’s tournament will be held from 4/1/2024 – 4/4/2024.
Lastly, we are excited to announce an additional incentive. We will rebate a portion of your entry fee in the form of a prepaid Visa card which will be handed out at the player welcome meeting before the tournament. We hope this will assist in offsetting your total expenditure and make participating in the tournament more accessible.
We have many exciting new additions to this year’s event, including improved food and beverage options. This event will also be a WR4GD points event and will be a qualifying tournament for the upcoming Silver City Invitational (more information coming soon) in Reno, NV in October of next year.
Registrations will open on September 1st, 2013, and there will be an “early birdie” special for those who register early (prior to 11/15/2013). This will be an “all abilities” event, with our associates and sponsors playing in a separate 18-hole competition on the first day of the event.
Stay tuned to this website and social media for announcements over the next few weeks concerning our host golf facility, host hotel, and tournament schedule.

I’d be interested in participating. I’ve heard of these tournaments and I’ve never seen one close enough to participate. I’m not an amputee but I was born without my left arm. Would I be eligible since i’m not an “amputee”? Are there qualifiers I’d have to participate in?
Is there someone that I can reach out to to find out more?

Single limb athletes have their own division in Adaptive Golf. Here is a link to the different classifications. If I recall correctly, you would be a G4 sports class. We should be announcing the golf course for the 2024 Conquerors in the next week or so. – Admin
